Moving Text

• <marquee> tag gives the movement to the text


• Right to left is the default movement
<marquee direction=”right”> hello </marquee>
• We can use right, left, up and down for the movement
• Scrollamount is another attribute defines the speed of the
moving text
Example:
<marquee scrollamount=”20”> welcome </marquee>

List

• List can be categorized into 3 types


1. Ordered list
2. Unordered list
3. Definition list

❖ Ordered List

• An ordered list starts with the <ol> tag.


• Each list item starts with the <li> tag.
• Numberings will appear default

Type Description
type="1" The list items will be numbered
with numbers (default)
type="A" The list items will be numbered
with uppercase letters
type="a" The list items will be numbered
with lowercase letters
