‫ و‬or ‫ ي‬should be ghair maftooh saakin ‫َيزْ ِي ُد ← َي ِز ْي ُد‬
‫ و‬or ‫ ي‬maqabal should not be alif

In a jazm conjugation

✴ However, when we move to the

next conjugation, the ‫ ل‬is given a
‫ ْو‬is dropped due to
‫َل ْم يَ ُق ْل‬ fatha so that an alif can be added to
indicate the dual form - thereby ‫اجتماع الساكنني‬
‫َل ْم َي ُق ْو ْل ← َل ْم َي ُق ْل‬
eliminating the gathering of two
saakins - therfore the ‫ و‬will be
brought back resulting in ‫َل ْم َي ُق ْو َال‬

‫ع‬
ٌ ‫َمبْيُ ْو‬
↓
Give damm of ‫ ي‬to maqabal, then
‫ع‬
ٌ ‫َمبُ ْي ْو‬
When you have a ‫ ُي‬and maqabal drop the ‫ و‬due to ‫اجتماع الساكنني‬
ٌ‫َم ِبيْع‬ saakin Then place a kasra on the ‫ف‬
