Physics Final Revision G9: Gravity Weight
Physics Final Revision G9: Gravity Weight
G9
• Gravity: is the noncontact attractive interaction between any
two objects having mass."
• Weight: a type of gravitational force called weight is the force
experienced by objects, resulting from their gravitational
attraction to Earth
• Gravitational Force and Distance: The magnitude of the
gravitational force is
inversely proportional to the square of the distance between
the centers of mass of two objects. This means as the distance
increases, the gravitational force decreases rapidly.
