Introduction

This document provides the information related to installation and setup of LKM
S/4HANAsystem access. Topics covered are:
1. SAP GUI Installation
2. Host File Entry for DNS
3. SAP Logon Pad Entry Log-in
4. Fiori Launchpad
5. Basic Troubleshooting

SAPGUI 7.60 INSTALLATION:

SAP S/4HANA 1909 supports only SAP GUI 7.50 and above.

HOST File Entry for DNS:

1. Click on Cortana Search in Windows Taskbar


2. Type Notepad in the search field.
3. In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
4. If you face the below error, please reach out to your local Tech team as you do not have administrator
rights to your laptop/desktop to install the Sophos. LKM Team would not be able to help you here. If you
do not face the below error, please proceed to step 5.

5. Within Notepad, open the following file “hosts” by going to path - C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc

6. Make the following entry at the end of file and press enter. Make sure there is one-tab space in
between.
172.240.10.70 awslkm0070.training.accenture.com awslkm0070

7. Click File > Save to save your changes (Ensure file is not saved with extension .txt If that is the
case go to c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ in windows explorer. In the ribbon go to View
tab and ensure that File name extensions is checked. Rename the hosts.txt file to hosts)

SAP Logon Pad Entry

1. On SAP Logon Pad click on New Item

Connection

2. Click on Next button.

3. Enter the details as below to configure systems:

LSH:

Application Server: 172.240.10.70


Instance Number: 01
System ID: LSH

Click on OK button to create the entry.

4. Double click on the entry just created, it will open SAP Logon Screen. Enter the User ID/password
provided to you.

MSH:

Application Server: 172.240.10.70


Instance Number: 00
System ID: MSH

Download HANA Studio from the below link:

Open HANA Studio:

FIORI Launchpad will be opened as follows:

2. Please use the same ID that you use for login to SAP GUI – Client 100.
3. For Sandbox client (LSH-500) : Please use the same ID that you use for login to SAP GUI –
Client 500.
