FINAL CALL FOR SUBM ITTING COP APPLICATIONS

The Karnataka State Bar Council has taken a decision to give a last
opportunity to the Advocates who have not submitted the COP applications
to file the same from Sth Ma v,2O25 to 3 1"t Mav. 2025.

The Advocates who have graduated from the year 1961 to L2.6.2OLO
but have not submitted the applications for the issuance of Certificate of
Practice (Format of the Application enclosed herewith) may file the same with
regular fee of Rs. 300 + late fee of Rs. 1200/- ( in total Rs. 1500/- Rupees One
Thousand and Five Hundred Only) {As per COP Rule 8 & 1O}. Applications
will be received through both offline and online mode. Applications rvill not
be entertained by post.

The Advocates who have enrolled themselves after L2.6.2OLO and


passed A11 India Bar Examination and have not submitted Declaration Form
on earlier occasions are also requested to submit the same throu online
mode onlv with all the requisite documents as per the COP Guidelines which
are also published on the official Website of the Karnataka State Bar Council.

listed in Defaulting Advocates' list. There shall be no further extension
hereafter.

Note : 1. The Advocates who have already Iiled COP need not apply for COP
2. The Advocates who have graduated from the year 1961 to
L2.6.2O10 shall pay a sum of Rs. 1500/- through Cash in the
office of KSBC if they are applying through offline.
e. The Advocates who have graduated after 12.6.2010 have to file
their Declaration form through online mode only.
4. Separate lists of the Advocates who have not submitted COP and
who have submitted COP is published in the Karnataka State Bar
Council Website.

THE FOLLOWING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS SIIALL BE SCANNED AND SHALL BE


UPLOADED ALONG WITH ?HE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

1. SSLC Marks Card.


2.2nd, PUC Marks Card/ Equivalent to 2nd PUC (CBSE 12th Standard, JOC and
Diploma Course).
3. Basic Degree Provisional Certificate/ Convocation Degree Certificate.
4. 3 Years Basic Degree Mark Sheets (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc and B.B.A/ Any other
Basic Degree).
5. LL.B. Degree Provisional Degree/ Convocation Degree Certificate.
6. 3 Years/ 5 Years LL.B. Degree Marks Sheets.
7. PROOF OF PRACTICE: You have to upload the following documents.
One Proof of Practice document for each vear from the vear 2O11-2O24

a) 5 Years Certified copy of the Vakalaths with Roll No.


b) 5 Years Cause list with Name.
c) Copies of Registered Sale Deed / Agreements for Sale / Any other registered
documents with Advocate Name.

d) Legal Notices with RPAD receipt / Acknowledgement


the Registered Law or Solicitor
e) Certificate issued by the Authorized Officer of
Firm in which the Advocate is working with nature of his work.

f) Five Documents of any 3 years from 2OLL to 2024 to support the claim of
Conveyancing practice lawyer.

e) Any other Document to show the Proof of Practice.


8. Passport size Photographs with Advocates'Dress-Code (with band and White
Shirtf
9. Certificate issued by the President/ Secretary/ Office-bearer of the Bar
Association (Format Enclosed).
1O. If the Bar Association is unregistered under Common Byelaws of the Karnataka
State Bar Council then the concerned Advocate has to give declaration as under
