Right from when I was a young child, I have had a compassionate interest in the functioning of

machines; especially with the logic behind the programming of video games and other systems
that are affiliated with the same. This unique passion has evolved into my desire to pursue
computer engineering at the institution. I’m drawn to Valpo by its outstanding academic
reputation and the holistic approach it engages in education. It is more than a career path to
me. I challenge myself to be a better person every other day I engage with my fellow students. I
endeavor to garner apt engineering skills that I can use in solving real world problems such as
development of technologies with the incorporation of greener solutions.

There are a couple of organizations and service opportunities that I do anticipate to come across
in my venture at the institution. I am aware of the school’s diversity and I have all the intentions
of ensuring that I utilize this aspect of the institution towards shaping my confidence,
compassion and purpose driven interactions with people from different specter. Ideally, I think
that the institution offers me an ideal environment for my growth, both as a student and as a
person. I am positive that I am in the right place and that the school will issue me with the
necessary tools and guidance that I need to ensure that my life is impactful in the world of
computer engineering. I indeed look forward to being part of this great institution.
