SCHEME OF STUDIES
The school follows the Evaluation Scheme suggested by Central Board of Secondary
Education(CBSE). The Evaluation has been divided into two parts:

1. SCHOLASTIC AREA
Part I consists of evaluation of scholastic areas. There will be two Periodic Tests (one in each
term) and two Term Examinations (Half Yearly & Annual Examination) in an academic year.
Assessment will be indicated on a grading scale.

2. CO-SCHOLASTIC AREAS
For the holistic development of the students, co-curricular activities in the following areas will be
carried out by the teachers and will be graded term-wise on a 3-point grading scale
(A=Outstanding, B=Very Good and C=Fair). The aspect of regularity, sincere participation,
output & teamwork are the generic criteria for grading in the following co-scholastic activities:

(d) Health and Physical Education (Sports)

DISCIPLINE (ATTENDANCE, SINCERITY, BEHAVIOUR, VALUES)


The students will also be assessed for the discipline which will be based on the factors like
attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules and regulations,
attitude towards society, nation and others. Grading on Discipline will be done term-wise on a 3-
point grading scale (A = Outstanding, B = Very Good and C = Fair)
