Dear Students,
As we approach the summer holidays, it's time to embark on your Class 12 ACCOUNTS
project work. This is an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into Accounting concepts and
apply your learning to real-world scenarios.
Project Specifications
Word Count: 3,500–4,000 words (excluding Financial statements).
Format: Preferably handwritten.
Submission: Only one project per academic session.
Paper: Use thick white A3 size ruled paper (one side ruled, the other blank).
Binding: Spiral binding with a transparent cover on top and black at the bottom.
Ink: Use blue or black ink; different colors may be used for headings.
Project Structure
1. Front Page: Include the school logo, student’s name, class, section, and the title of
the project.
2. Certificate: A certificate provided by the school.
3. Acknowledgement: Acknowledging the contributions of individuals and institutions.
4. Index: A table of contents with page numbers.
5. Introduction: A brief introduction to the topic, including its relevance and objectives
6. About the company
7. Balance sheet
8. Statement of profit and loss
9. Cash flow statement
10. Analysis of financial statement (comparative and common size)
11. Ratio Analysis.
12. Objective of the Study: Clearly state the purpose of the project.
13. Research Methodology: Describe the methods used to gather data.
14. Conclusion: Summarize the key points and insights.
15. Bibliography: List all the references and sources used.
Expected Checklist
Introduction of Topic/Title: Provide a clear and concise introduction.
Stakeholders and Their Effects: Discuss various stakeholders and how they are
affected.
Advantages and Disadvantages: Evaluate the pros and cons of the issue.
Data Validity and Relevance: Ensure the data used is valid, reliable, and appropriate.
Presentation: Maintain a coherent and succinct presentation throughout the
project.
Citation: Properly cite all materials referred to in footnotes, resources section,
bibliography, etc.
