RAVI RIVER Originate from bara bhangal as a joint stream formed by glacier fed stream of Badal an. tant giri. It’s left bank tributaries are chirchind nala. Right bank tributaries are Budhil tundhan, Belijedi, saho and siul. Beli budhi si sa takdi. Sanskri name- iravati. 158 km Length in hp with catchment area of 5451 sq km.Merges with chinab river in Pakistan. Madhopur and bada bharmour as main settlement The Ravi river first flow towards westward through trough saparating Pir panjal from Dhauladhar range, then it flow southward, leaving chamba at kheri.
