 The Bhawanipur Education Society College was
founded in 1996 with the motto “Education For
Excellence” through the Bhawanipur Gujarati
Education Society.
Accredited by NAAC and Affiliated to the University
of Calcutta, BESC was created under Article 30(1)
of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees
linguistic minorities, such as the Gujarati-Speaking
community in Calcutta, the right to establish and
administer educational instructions of they
their choice.

All participants must carry a valid college identity
card from their respective college.
Colleges are required to send in one team to
represent their college in each of the events.
No substitutions will be entertained.
Cross-college or open teams will not be
entertained.
Obscenity and vulgarity in any form will lead to
disqualification.
The decision of the judges shall be final and
binding for all the events.
Chewing pan masala / gum, smoking, drinking, or
any other related activity is prohibited in the
college premises and other event venues.
No weapons are allowed on the college premises
(including chains, knuckles, pen knives, lighters,
etc.) fire producing and inflammable objects are
strictly prohibited.
Damaging or tampering with any kind of college
property by anyone shall be considered a serious
offense and may lead to cancellation of the
college participation.
The management shall not be responsible for any
loss of prop, damage, theft, etc. of your personal
belongings.
Organisers reserve the right to modify the rules
and regulations.

Round 1: commodity Market Trading
-OBJECTIVE-
Acquire a diverse and valuable portfolio of goods and services
through commodities.

-RULES-
Participants will go through a quick general knowledge
test, testing their knowledge in commodity market.
A Corpus fund will be allotted according to the
performance of the general knowledge test.
Participants will be allowed to purchase commodities
from the BESC's virtual exchange within a time span of 30
minutes.
Trades can involved single item or bundles.
Participants much must record each trade with a
designated facilitator.
No stocks can be used for traded in this round.
Inter-trade is not allowed in this round.
The valuation of the commodities will change according to
Policies & Changes in Environment which will be disclosed
on commencement of the round.
Round 2: Stock Market Simulation

-OBJECTIVE-
Grow your virtual currency by trading stocks on BESC's
Virtual Stock Exchange.

-RULES-
Participants will be funded with a Virtual Corpus Fund (eg
₹100,000) for Stock / Equity Trading.
Real Time Stock data will be provided on the stimulation
platform.
Sectoral Results will be displayed on the basis of which
Stock Prices would fluctuate.
All Trades should be executed through the simulated
platform only.
No Barter Trades / Inter- Trades are allowed in this round.
 Round 3: Integrated Trading

-OBJECTIVE-
Maximize your overall portfolio value by trading between the
Barter Market & Stock Exchange.

-RULES-
Participants will now be allowed to trade among
themselves between commodities and stocks & build a
Strong Portfolio.
All trades must be executed through the simulated
platform.
Participants will have 60 minutes to engage in Barter &
Trading.
No new participants can join this round, only those who
completed the first 2 rounds are eligible.
Prices of Commodities & Stocks will be effected on the
basis of news display in the 3rd round.
 End of Challenge:
Portfolio Assessment

-RULES-
At the end of Round 3, participants submit their final
portfolios to the judges.
Portfolios are assessed based on diversity, value, and
strategic use of resources across both systems.
The final leaderboard is updated and winners are
announced based on the highest overall portfolio value
and strategic performance.

-GUIDELINES-

Number of Participants : 2-3 per team.

 Dive into the excitement of the Venture Pitch
Showcase, where entrepreneurs, innovators, and start-
ups take the stage to pitch their ground breaking ideas
and business ventures to a panel of distinguished
investors and industry experts. This dynamic event
replicates the high-stakes atmosphere of Shark Tank,
providing a platform for emerging businesses to secure
crucial funding and strategic support.

-GUIDELINES-

Number of Participants : 2-3 per team.

PPT to be submitted through Google Drive the night
before the event.
Time Allotted : 5+3 minutes.
OTSE is allowed.
Slots : 20.
Products will be allotted by draw of chits on the
first representative meeting.
A team of students will be shown an indicator and they
will have to guess the name of the indicator with a
small brief and the team who answers the most will
win the competition.
This will also help other students to know more about
different types of indictors and many more.

Step into the thrilling world of trading with STOCK WARS,
an electrifying inter-college Stock Auction Event that
brings the intensity of Dalal Street straight into the
campus!

Round-1
Participating teams will bid for stocks listed in the NSE &
BSE.
Each team will be given a virtual fund corpus to build their
ideal portfolio through a live auction process. One by One
stocks will be highlighted of different sectors & will ne
eligible for bidding. Resale auction will take place for unsold
stocks at the end.

Round-2
The portfolio Assessment Round. Here the Portfolios of the
participants will be evaluated and the best portfolio with
stocks of all the sectors and the greatest value will be the
winner of ultimate stock war.
 -GUIDELINES-

Number of Participants : 2 - 3 per team

Teams that do not successfully construct a
complete team under the specified criteria will be
disqualified.
Additional rules and regulations will be disclosed
on the spot.
The decision of the judges/panellists is final and
binding.
Participants should carry their laptop.
Participants are requested to come in business
formal.
