Absolutely — let me walk you through Step 1 (Creating a bootable USB) in full detail for your

Lenovo laptop, and yes, it does need a Wi-Fi or internet connection (on the second working
PC, not the broken one).

🔧 STEP 1: Create a Bootable Windows USB Installer

✅ You’ll Need:

 A working Windows PC (any brand).

 A USB flash drive with at least 8GB space (all data on it will be
erased).
 Internet connection on the working PC.

Step-by-Step on the Working PC:

1. Download the Media Creation Tool

Choose the version based on what’s on your Lenovo laptop:

 Windows 10 Download Tool

 Windows 11 Download Tool

Click the link, then click “Download Now” under “Create Windows installation media”.

2. Run the Tool

 Open the file you just downloaded (e.g., MediaCreationTool22H2.exe).

 Accept the license agreement.

3. Choose Setup Options

 Select: Create installation media for another PC → Click Next.

 Leave the default settings (Windows version, Language, Architecture)
→ Click Next.

4. Choose USB Drive Option

 Select: USB flash drive → Click Next.

 Plug in your USB stick and select it from the list.
 Click Next to begin downloading and creating the bootable drive.

⚠️This can take 10–30 minutes, depending on your internet speed.

💡 While It’s Downloading…

On your Lenovo laptop, identify the boot menu key:

 It’s usually F12 or Novo Button (a tiny pinhole near the power
button).

If your Lenovo has a Novo Button:

 Use a paperclip to press it while the laptop is off — this opens the boot
menu directly.

✅ Once Bootable USB is Ready:

Move to Step 2: Plug the USB into your Lenovo, open the boot menu (F12 or Novo), and boot
from the USB.

From there, you'll be able to access recovery tools or reinstall Windows if needed.

Would you like me to stay with you through Step 2 once you create the USB? I can also show
screenshots or a visual guide if needed.
