Dear Head of the ICT Department,

I am a year 8 student from TNIS (Takapuna Normal Intermediate School) willing to have the
opportunity to express some of my ideas for the new school that would help and engage
students in their learning along with why I think it would be important.

School work related Features:


●​ Online learning resources: This could include educational websites, interactive and
educational games and online textbooks. This would be very useful for those who want
to study a bit more about a certain lesson that they have done.

●​ Homework Help: This can include a section with answers to common homework
questions, or a small video which explains questions for further depths. This would be
helpful for students who are struggling with their schoolwork.

●​ Calendar of Events: This would be a central place for the students to see upcoming
school events such as sports games, concerts and field trips. This would help students
stay organised and informed about what is happening at school.

●​ A section for Parents only: This could include info about school policies,upcoming events
and feedback from the teacher about their child. This would help parents stay notified on
what is happening at school

Other Interesting Features:


●​ Student Blogs: This can allow students to share their thoughts or experiences with the
school community. This would also be a great way for students to develop their writing
skills and express themselves creatively.

●​ School news and announcements: This would keep students up-to-date on what is
happening at school. It would improve children's public speaking skills and also make
children feel like they belong in the school community.

In conclusion I hope this helps develop an educational and engaging school website for children
