INNOVATIONS IN FUTURE MOBILITY

DIYguru is committed to delivering a standardized, industry-aligned learning experience

through its flagship 12-month Postgraduate (PG) Program in EV Technology &
Embedded Systems.

To maintain academic rigor and certification integrity, the following official guidelines outline
the mandatory requirements all students must fulfill to be eligible for the final PG certificate.

These guidelines are applicable to the following categories of students:

DIYguru students who wish to upgrade from the Nanodegree Program to the 12-month
Postgraduate (PG) Program.
Students who enrolled in the DIYguru 12-month PG Program between May – September
2024.
Students enrolled in the DIYguru EICT IIT Guwahati 12-month PG Program.

INNOVATIONS IN FUTURE MOBILITY

To receive the final Postgraduate Certificate, the student must strictly

follow the points mentioned below:

Mandatory Migration to New LMS

To receive the 12-month PG certification, a student must mandatorily migrate to the

new LMS – DIYguru eMobility Academy.
Progress or completions made on the old LMS (courses.diyguru.org) will not be
considered for certification.

12-Month Completion is Mandatory

No student will be eligible to receive the PG certificate before completing 12 months

from the date of enrollment, even if they finish the courses earlier.
The certificate will only be issued after the completion of the full 12-month program
duration.

Completion of Full PG Learning Plan – 15 Courses + Mandatory Projects

Submission

To receive the final certificate of completion, the student must complete 15

mandatory courses outlined in the PG Learning Plan of Action. The course sequence
in the new LMS is aligned with this learning plan and must be followed accordingly.
The core curriculum consists of 16 courses distributed across Phases 1 to 4,
including one elective, where students must select one out of two available courses
based on their interest. This results in 15 required courses for certification.
Additionally, Phase 5 offers three optional specialization courses, which are not
mandatory for certification but are recommended for those seeking advanced skills.
The student must:

Complete all 15 required courses on the new LMS platform.

Successfully submit all mandatory projects for each course
Pass all project evaluations as per defined assessment rubrics.

Course-Wise ASDC Written Online Exams

After each course, the student must appear in a course-wise ASDC-aligned written
online exam.
The student must pass each of these exams to fulfill certification requirements.

Final Certificate Issuance

The student will become eligible to receive the official PG Certificate in EV

Technology & Embedded Systems only upon:

Successful migration to the new LMS,

Completion of all 15 courses with all mandatory projects,
Clearing all ASDC exams, and
Fulfilling the 12-month duration.

These certification conditions ensure that every DIYguru PG graduate meets the academic
and professional standards expected by the industry. We urge all students to read and follow
the above guidelines carefully to ensure smooth processing of their certificate after program
completion.

Phase-Wise Structure of Courses in the PG Program

The DIYguru PG Program is a structured, multidisciplinary, and future-ready

certification designed to shape the next generation of engineers & innovators in electric
mobility and embedded systems.

Spanning 12 months and comprising 19 curated courses, the program ensures a step-by-
step progression, covering all core domains (EV fundamentals, MATLAB/simulation,
embedded systems, design, etc.), with a focus on cross-domain integration.

The DIYguru PG Program curriculum is organized into five progressive phases, each
reflecting a key stage in the EV product development lifecycle — from foundational
theory to component-level engineering, complete system integration and R&D.

This phased approach fosters deep conceptual understanding alongside practical, tool-
based skills, preparing participants for real-world engineering roles.
