Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our
death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.

Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;

and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sit at the right hand of God, the Father almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

Nicene Creed

I believe in one God,

the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is adored and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

Act of Contrition

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.

In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,
I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.
In His name. My God have mercy.

The Holy Rosary

Start by making the sign of the Cross:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Then recite the Creed:

I believe in God, the Father almighty……

Then say 1 "Our Father", 3 "Hail Mary's" for the virtues of Faith, Hope
and Charity; and then 1 "Glory Be":

Our Father, who art in heaven, ….

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us
sinners now, and at the hour of death.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the
beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
The Rosary is divided into three parts, each having five mysteries. While
meditating on the Mysteries, recite for each Mystery:
1 "Our Father"
10 "Hail Mary's" and
1 "Glory Be"

After each Mystery the "Fatima Prayer" is said.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of hell, lead all souls to heaven,
especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.

All together this makes up one decade.

After the completion of the five mysteries (five decades), the "Hail Holy
Queen" is said:

Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do
we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning
and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of
mercy toward us, and after this our exile show us the blessed fruit of thy womb,
Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

The Angelus

The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:

And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us
sinners, now and at the hour of
our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

Hail Mary . . .

And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us.

Hail Mary . . .

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of
Christ.
Let us pray:

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the
incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by
His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same
Christ Our Lord.

Salve Regina (Hail, Holy Queen)

Hail, holy Queen, mother of Mercy.
Hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping,
in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile, show unto us
the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet virgin Mary.

ETERNAL REST GRANT UNTO THEM

ETERNAL rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon
them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God, in three Divine Persons, the
Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost; I believe that Thy Divine Son became man and
died for our sins and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe
these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast
revealed them, who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.

Act of Hope

O My God, relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of
my sins, the help of Thy grace and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Redeemer.

Act of Love

O my God, I love Thee above all things with my whole heart and soul, because Thou
art all good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbour as myself for love of Thee. I
forgive all who have injured me, and I ask pardon for all whom I have injured.
