 Setting: Kafe di dekat kampus, setelah kelas.

 Karakter:

o Andi: Mahasiswa tahun kedua, tertarik pada kimia organik.

o Bella: Mahasiswa baru, masih mencari tahu minat spesifiknya dalam kimia.

Percakapan:

Bella: Hey Andi, mind if I join you? I've been meaning to talk to someone who's been in the
chemistry program for a while.

Andi: Sure, Bella! I'd be happy to chat. So, you're new here? What made you choose chemistry?

Bella: Well, I've always been fascinated by how things work at a molecular level. And I thought this
university had a really strong chemistry program, especially in the field of materials science. That's
something I'm really interested in. What about you?

Andi: I've always been more into organic chemistry. I love the idea of creating new molecules and
seeing how they interact with each other. Plus, I think there's a lot of potential for organic chemistry
in developing new drugs and materials.

Bella: That's really cool! So, what do you hope to achieve with a degree in chemistry?

Andi: I'd love to pursue a PhD and eventually work in a research lab, maybe developing new
sustainable materials. What about you?

Bella: I'm still exploring my options. But I'm thinking about working in the pharmaceutical industry. I
think it would be really rewarding to contribute to the development of new drugs that can help
people.

Andi: That's a noble goal! By the way, where are you from? Tell me a bit about yourself.

Bella: I'm from Jakarta. My dad's a doctor, and my mom's a teacher. I have an older sister who's
studying law. I guess you could say we're a family of professionals! What about you?

Andi: I'm from Bandung. My dad's an engineer, and my mom's a chemist. She actually taught me a
lot about chemistry when I was younger. I have a younger brother who's more into sports.

Bella: Wow, so you have a chemistry background in your family! That's awesome.

Andi: Yeah, I guess you could say I was destined to be a chemist. How about you? Do you have any
hobbies outside of chemistry?

Bella: I love to read and I'm also trying to learn how to play the guitar. How about you?

Andi: I'm into cooking and reading. It's a great way to clear my head and deepen my knowledge.

Person A: Hi, I'm Ben. I'm from New York.

Hai, aku Ben. Aku dari New York.

Person B: Nice to meet you, Ben. I'm Anya. I'm from Jakarta.

Senang bertemu denganmu, Ben. Aku Anya. Aku dari Jakarta.

Person A: Oh, cool! So, why did you choose chemistry?

Oh, keren! Jadi, kenapa kamu memilih kimia?

Person B: Well, I've always been fascinated by how things work at a molecular level. And I love
conducting experiments.

Yah, aku selalu terpesona dengan cara kerja segala sesuatu di tingkat molekuler. Dan aku suka
melakukan eksperimen.

Person A: Me too! I'm especially interested in organic chemistry. What about you?

Aku juga! Aku sangat tertarik dengan kimia organik. Bagaimana denganmu?

Person B: I'm more into analytical chemistry. I find the process of identifying and quantifying
substances really intriguing.

Aku lebih suka kimia analitik. Aku menemukan proses identifikasi dan kuantifikasi zat sangat
menarik.

Person A: That's awesome! Maybe we can work on a project together sometime.

Itu keren! Mungkin kita bisa bekerja sama dalam sebuah proyek suatu saat nanti.

Person B: Definitely! I'd love to learn more about organic chemistry.

Pasti! Aku ingin belajar lebih banyak tentang kimia organik.
