Problem statement 1: - Develop a next gen capability for service
technicians to record equipment inspections without having to manually
type/write

4. Describe the Solution:


We are using a dual channel approach by creating both a website and a
Java app to allow for the technology to be usable even in remote areas
with little connectivity. We are using a speech to text AI to enable quick
and reliable inputs to the form

5. Tools and Technology used:


Java, Java Swing, RESTful API, NextJS, TailwindCSS, Maven

6. How are you approaching the problem:


We are using a dual approach which includes a website with full
capability that is connected to the internet and a java app that will run
natively on the technician’s laptop. The app only misses the real time
tracking of the form; however, this is resolved by allowing the
technicians to submit a completed form to the website once they have
connectivity again. We are using speech-to-text AI to fill out the forms on
either platform. Additionally,
