Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics was started in 2006 with under graduate course and
elevated into a post graduate department in 2011. Mathematics is the power of antiquity, the
richness of the heritage and the pride of serving the course education. The Department is
actively engaged in organizing Conferences, Seminars and Guest lecturers which paves way
to hone the mathematical skills of the students. The Department conducts specialized
classes for NET/ SLET and also offers certificate courses on Aptitude skills. The department
always focuses on enhancement of students knowledge.

In Commemoration of Birth Anniversary of Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan
NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY was celebrated. Regarding this ,Mathematical
Rangoli competition & Poster Presentation events were conducted.
Every Year our students giving training to the Students of Ramanathan Chettiyar Municipal
High School, Karaikudi for National Merit Scholarship Exam(NMMS). This year 27 students got pass
and Ramanathan Chettiyar Municipal High School secured district first in National Merit
Scholarship Exam-2024.
