Monsoon 2025 data in the Jaldoot App-Certain instructions issued-Reg.

vide ref cited, the GoI has requested that the Pre - Monsoon ground water
level details to be captured between 25th May to 15th June 2025, duly considering
the following measurement guidelines during the data collection process.

A. The Jaldoot (officials responsible for taking water table


measurement – Gram Rojgar Sevak/ Field Assistants) should ensure that
water has not been extracted out from the well in the past 10 to 12 hours.
B. It is advised to capture the data of all open wells of same Village
/Gram Panchayat on the same day only.
C. All ground water levels should be measured from the ground
surface.
D. Record the depth to water level consistently from the same
measuring point each time.
E. If measuring from the top of the well parapet, calculate the actual
ground water level as “Actual Ground Water Level (m) = Groundwater level
from the top of the parapet (m) – Length of the parapet outside the ground
surface (m).
F. Enter the actual groundwater level accurately into the mobile app.
G. In case, if the Well is dry then measurement from the bottom of
the well to the ground level of the Well i.e. complete depth of the Well in
meters.
Hence, the PDs, DWMA, MGNREGS in the state are hereby requested to
ensure Pre-Monsoon 2025 Ground Water Levels in Open Wells are uploaded
through Jaldoot Mobile App is completed immediately as per the monsoon
calendar.
