School Mid-Term Update


Third Term 2024/2025 Session

Peace be with all!


We give thanks to God, Father of great mercy from whom all good things come. Blessed be God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Mercies and God of all compassion, who comfort us in our day-to-
day lives as we experience the harsh realities of our economic challenges (2 Cor. 1:3).
As we move closer to the Feast of the Pentecost, we pray that the joy we have celebrated this Easter will
draw us closer to the Spirit of grace.

Appreciation
We thank all our parents for their support to the school, especially in the ongoing admission drive. The next
entrance examination will be held on 7th June, 2025 at Maryland Convent Private School by 9 am.

Mid-Term Break
All our students will be coming for mid-term break on Friday 6th June, 2025. Departure time from school
is 12.00 noon.
Resumption will be on Sunday, 15th June, 2025. Departure time from all our pick-up points will be 1 pm.
We remind those who are yet to make their complete fee payment to kindly do so.

UTME JAMB Update


All our students scored above 200 despite all the challenges of this year’s examination. We congratulate
Onuchukwu Mitchell who has 298, Okoye-Nnaeze Angel who has 295, Oruye Chinedum- 294, Okoli-Kanu
Stanislaus scored 271.

Graduation/Step-Up and Ceremony and Closing of the Session


The graduation ceremony for SSS 3 students and the step-up ceremony for JSS 3 students will be held on
13th July, 2025.

Dress code:
SSS 3 Graduation:
Boys: Navy blue (suit) with white shirt
Girls: Navy blue gown with a touch of gold

JSS 3 Step-up:
Girls: Royal blue
Boys: Royal blue and white

Meeting with Parents/Guardians of Students in SSS 1 and SSS 2


The Management team will request the presence of the parents of students in SSS 1 and SSS 2 in preparation
of next year UTME and WASSCE examinations. Attendance is mandatory as importance issues will be
discussed. Time: 29th June, 2025 immediately after 9 am Mass.

Breaking of Kola on 2025 Cultural Day


We kindly want to remind parents that made pledges to redeem their pledges, while we thank all those that
have redeemed theirs.

10 th Anniversary Celebration and Confirmation on 18 th July 2026
In view of this celebration a Local Organising Committee will be formed which will comprise of three
parents from each classes.
We count on your support to make the celebration a huge success and encourage active participation, as
most of the meetings for preparation will be online.
