AMD / Power of Three
There are three phases that price typically
goes through in a trading cycle
1. Accumulation
This is the phase where smart money
(institutional traders) starts to build their
positions. During this phase, the price
usually moves sideways or within a narrow
range.
2. Manipulation
In this phase, the price is moved to trigger
stop losses and create liquidity. This is often
where retail traders get trapped.
3. Distribution
This is the phase where the smart money
starts to of oad their positions, causing the
price to move in the intended direction,
either up or down.
