5 Installation & Commissioning Checkpoints

1 Check foundation grouting of all componenets as per drawing.

2 Check tightness of all Instrumnet connection

3 Check DAE tank height as per NPSH requiremnet of pump & TF pipeline height

4 Check strainers in TF pipeline

5 Check platform must be free from coil, support should not be welded to coil

6 Flush TF pipeline

Perform pneumatic test for TF Pipeline & Heater at 6 bar pressure & note pr. drop at 1 hr interval, Bypass DAE
7 tank during Pneumatic test.

8 Check condition of refractory inside furnace & doors

9 Check if melboard is present in between refractory bricks.

10 Check bed nozzle height from casting, holes should be clear for BB units.

11 Check grate bar installation for SG units & below refractory as per drawing

12 Check TF pump pipeline should be installed with proper support & load is not on pump.

13 Cross check chimney top dia & height as per norms

14 Check ducting size as per P&I.

15 Check shed availibility

16 Check TF Pump alignment, perform clod & hot alignment

17 Check density of fuel available.

18 Check Insulation thickjness of ducting & pipeline as per P&I.

19 Check Soot Blower pneumatic line connection & guide operator for use.

21 Check Bearing greasing before ID fan & Gear oil in Gear Boxes as per recommendation prior to trial

22 Check alignment of ID fan pulley with motor pulley before starting ID Fan.

23 Check size of Incomer cable

24 Check Earthing of panel & motor insulation

25 Check Overload relay

26 Check current taken by Blower & Pump motors

27 Check the sequence of operation of Fans as per drawing.

28 Check mounting & position of all instruments as per P&I.

29 Programming of TIC as per drawing

31 Check pump flow from curve w.r.t power & NPSH

32 check pressure drop across coil & DP switch function
