1. All questions are compulsory.

Section A - Very Short Answer (1 mark each) [10 Marks]

1. Write the Roman numeral for 89.

2. Find the value of: 7 × 8 ÷ 4.

3. Write the successor of 9999.

4. Find the HCF of 12 and 18.

5. Convert 3 km into meters.

6. Write an even number between 35 and 39.

7. What is the place value of 7 in 47,853?

8. Name the type of angle that measures 90°.

9. Write a prime number between 20 and 30.

10. Simplify: 3/4 + 1/4

Section B - Short Answer I (2 marks each) [16 Marks]

11. Compare using <, >, or = : 3.25 and 3.205

12. Find the LCM of 6 and 8.

13. Multiply: 132 × 17

14. Convert 2 hours 45 minutes into minutes.

15. Write all factors of 28.

16. Write the standard form of: 900000 + 20000 + 300 + 50 + 6

17. Draw a circle of radius 3 cm and mark its center.

18. Write the equivalent fraction of 3/5 with denominator 20.


Section C - Short Answer II (3 marks each) [18 Marks]

19. A shopkeeper sold 56 pencils in a day. How many pencils did he sell in a week?

20. Divide: 678 ÷ 6 and write quotient and remainder.

21. A car travels 75 km in one hour. How much distance will it cover in 4 hours 30 minutes?

22. Draw a bar graph to show the number of books read by 4 students:

- Riya: 5

- Amit: 7

- Sita: 4

- John: 6

23. Convert the fraction 7/10 into a decimal.

24. Find the perimeter of a rectangle with length 12 cm and breadth 8 cm.

Section D - Long Answer (4 marks each) [24 Marks]

25. The school library has 12 shelves. Each shelf contains 85 books. How many books are there in total?

26. A rectangular garden is 25 m long and 15 m wide. Find:

a) Area of the garden

b) Cost of fencing the garden at Rs.20 per meter

27. A person earns Rs.4,800 per month. How much will he earn in a year? If he saves Rs.1,200 every month,

what will be his total savings in 12 months?

28. Solve:

a) 2/3 + 4/9

b) 7/8 - 3/8
