1 Water/Coolant level check
2 Raditor status
3 Cooling fan check
4 Sump oil level check
5 Drive belts check
6 Check for leaks under engine
7 Check fuel level and refill. Ensure cap is fitted on completion
8 Check battery terminals for any flurring
9 Check battery electrolyte levels
10 Check position on emergency stop
11 Check for any alarms and warnings on control panel
12 Clear any debri on genset sorrounding
13 Check status of charge air piping
14 Check the lubricating oil level
15 Test unit for manual operation
16 Isolate mains to check for auto mode
17 Ensure genset room is clear of used service parts( filters/oil cans/used oil etc)
18 Assess changeover switch to ascertain inegrity of contactors, wiring and confirm there is no arching.
19 Assess status of the exhaust system design to prevent cases of backfiring
