Set the radio to communicate with a repeater at 146.780- MHz, 100.0 Hz
0. Turn on the radio and make sure it’s unlocked 6. Set the transm it tone frequency

1. CLR (VFO mode) FUNC - 8 •– (rt) - rotate volume (100.0) - CLR

4. Set the repeater offset Your radio is now set to transm it as specified

5. Set the repeater shift direction

Store and name the current repeater and tone settings in a memory channel
0. Follow the procedure above to set your radio 2. M R (channel mode)
for the frequency of your choice
3. Set NAM E mode

Set the radio to communicate at 146.740 MHz simplex

2. Set the frequency 5. Set the transm it pow er level

1-4-6-7-4-0 FUNC - 9 (H) - CLR

3. If the - sign is absent, skip to step 5 The simplex frequency is now stored in radio
memory
