What Is An Integer

Integers are whole numbers that include positive numbers, negative numbers, and zero, without any fractional parts. Examples of positive integers include 2, 3, and 4, while negative integers include -2, -3, and -5. When performing operations with integers, if the numbers have different signs, subtraction is used, and the result takes the sign of the larger absolute value.
