PAPER ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL
SCIENCES

O VERVIEW

NTA successfully conducted Joint CSIR UGC NET DECEMBER 2020/JUNE 2021 Exam for
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)and Lectureship (LS)in online mode on 29th Jan, 5th & 6th
Feb. 2022 for subjects such as Mathematical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Chemical Sciences,
Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. This test is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian
Nationals ‘for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship/Assistant
Professor’.The award of Junior Research Fellowship to the successful eligible candidates will
depend on their finding admission/ placement in a University/ National laboratory/ Institution
of higher learning and research, as applicable.

As per the analysis, we have found that DECEMBER 2020/JUNE 2021 Exam of Mathematical
Sciences was Easy to Moderate level as compared to previous Exam. Most of the question
were Conceptual, Formula Based and Numerical Based Questions.
