Re: Interoffice memo/complaint form issued 08 February 2018

To whom it may concern,

I received an interoffice memo indicating the following complaints filed against me:

• Failure of accomplishment of Lesson Plans and Course Syllabus for Senior High School
(First and Second Semester) on time
• Habitual late in reporting to work
• Sudden absenteeism

Let me state the reasons behind these complaints:

First, I would like to explain my side why I cannot accomplish the Lesson Plan, as well
as the Course Syllabus. It is because I am comprehensively preparing for the Licensure
Examination for Teachers (LET) through attending a review center every Saturdays and Sundays
in Manila from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The distance from Cavite and Manila is distinctively far so
that is why I encounter various occurrences such as heavy influx of passengers and traffic
congestion. Also, being a teacher-representative in the activities such as the Work Immersion
(July 2017), the Campus Journalism (July-August 2017), the times when Jobert Lolo (Grade 11
Student) is sent in Pasig for his Mathematics Training Guild (MTG), the preparation for Foundation
Week (October 2017) and being a CAT Commandant training students that undergo formation-
training of COCC-CAT, hinders me from accomplishing it on time. These activities are school-
related and I never left these tasks behind so I engage to it for the sake of school’s welfare.
Secondly, having the habitual number of lates in reporting to work is not intentionally
or habitually done, it is due to some factors that makes it. I do not have the intention of being late.
It has a serving purpose, sometimes, I am late because I accompany my niece in getting through
school since she should be prompt, so as to me, especially that I am a teacher. I help my mother
to get through our family’s task.
Thirdly, sudden absenteeism is also a concern for the memo. I commit absences
because of some events that needs my immediate attention, also, having sickness is also an
encounter.
This memo will serve as a reprimand for me to go through and to get things and tasks
better. I apologize for all these matters that I had done. I also apologize if I committed these
frailties that I should not do as a teacher.
I promise to accomplish my tasks on time, under pressure and with minimal
supervision. I also promise to formally provide a leave for my next absences and be always
on time in reporting to work.

Thank you very much for letting me share my side with you, for the sake of neutrality, fair
treatment and justice in the realms of service.
