SICAM Navigator is a time-series based visualization tool that assists you in gaining insights into your power
distribution system and how devices and grid components are performing. Once started, you can get an
overview of your connected transformer substation or charging infrastructure data, which allows you to
conduct root-cause analysis.
To avoid downtimes, monitoring functions send warnings and alarms in case operating components are out
of range. If activated, a control function can be used to switch on or off grid components for energy and load
management.
SICAM Navigator is completely integrated into Insight HUB without the need of preceding data preparation.
SICAM Navigator is designed to be used on a PC and on mobile devices, for example tablets or smartphones.
Software Requirements
Siemens recommends the following to run SICAM Navigator properly:
• Stationary devices
– Google Chrome
• Mobile devices
– Android: Google Chrome
– Apple iOS: Safari

NOTE
i To create a signal assignment, Siemens recommends using the Microsoft Excel Engineering Sheet for
SICAM Navigator. To receive this template, contact your Siemens sales partner.
Detailed instructions how to use the template are included in the engineering sheet itself.
With the graphic configuration, the name of the SVG graphic is assigned to the station in the view Map.
NOTE
i In case of inconsistencies between stations, signal assignments or missing SVG graphics, a yellow informa-
tion bar is displayed.
NOTE
i Siemens offers a library of SVG elements and graphics. For access, contact your Siemens sales partner.
The SVG graphics are assigned to the substations using the same CSV file as for signal assignment.
NOTE
² In the section Limit configuration, enter an upper and lower warning limit.
² Enter an upper and lower alarm limit.
² To create an entry in the event list in case of a warning or an alarm, enable the respective toggle button
