Spread across a 135-acre campus, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta)
was established as the first national institute for Postgraduate studies and Research in
Management by the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with the Alfred P.
Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation,

Criteria
Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or a recognised Master's
degree (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) from a UGC/AICTE accredited
institution. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience is
required after completing your Bachelor's degree by the application deadline, or a
minimum of 3 years after completing a Master's degree.

The evaluation methodology is at the discretion of the faculty. The methodology
includes but not limited to

ONLINE EXAMS CLASS CONTRIBUTION CASE ANALYSIS

The IIM Calcutta EPBM program utilizes a rigorous assessment process conducted in
collaboration with Times Edutech and Events Limited (TEEL). Individual modules
(excluding on-campus components) are evaluated, with participants receiving grades of
"Excellent," "Good," "Fair," or "Poor." While cut-off scores will be revealed, individual
marks remain confidential. To successfully complete the program, participants must
meet attendance requirements and receive no more than two "Poor" grades across
evaluated modules. Additionally, providing feedback is essential for program
completion.

Professor Ritu Mehta is a faculty member in


the Marketing group at IIM Calcutta. She
holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of
Technology Kanpur, where she achieved a
perfect GPA of 10.0. She also earned an MBA
from Nirma Institute of Management,
Ahmedabad (with distinction), and a B Tech
(Chemical) from L.D. College of
Engineering, Ahmedabad (with honours).
Her research interests include marketing
management, marketing research, and
pricing decisions. She brings valuable
industry experience as a former Product
Manager at Vadilal Enterprises and
Engineer at Reliance Petrochemicals.
