Project 1:

Title : Development of Linux Device Driver for PCI-DPM Card Duration : 12 months Platform : Linux Language :C Description:
The objective project is to develop a driver implementing single read/write and block read/write operations for the PCI-DPM card. Identify and list the details of the PCI-DPM card of given type connected to the PCI bus, the driver must be able to scan the PCI bus and gather relevant information regarding the card. To perform data transfer operations there is need to implement read/write operation. In essence data is written into the user space memory then on to kernel space .which is finally written into the memory of PCI-DPM card. Roles and Responsibilities: Team member as application & driver developer

Project 2: Title : Device driver for PLX-9054 with DMA implementation Duration : 6 months Platform : Linux Language : C Description: The aim of this work is to implement driver for plx-9054 card which is capable of handling DMA data transactions. PLX 9054 registers which needs to be configured and set to make DMA mode nabled. PCI 9054 supports two independent DMA channels capable of reading and writing

data from Local to PCI bus and PCI to local bus. The code will run with single, block of data from locale memory to DPM memory and vice versa. Roles and Responsibilities: lmplementation of DMA capabilities for PCI-DPM card. Project3: Title : Intra PE Communication protocol developemnet and implementation Duration Platform Language Description: A communication Protocol module for inter-application process communication using IPC concepts. The module does communication between various instances of the task running on the same processing element (PE). Depending on the number of instances, shared memory blocks and semaphores are created and using this as the transfer space, the communication is performed. Role and Responsibilities: Developing A Communication protocol modules for sendrecv, float, and findmax using IPC for intra PE and testing it. Personal Details: Name Fathers name Gender Marital Status Nationality Languages known : 6 months : Linux :C
