The goal of the method is for the students to learn to communicate in the target language. The communication required that studfents perform certain functions as well., such as promising, inviting, and declining invitations within a social contexts.

Communication Language teaching aims broadly to apply the theoretical perspective of the communicative approach by making communicative competence the goal of language teaching and by acknowledging the independence of language and communication. The class we will visit is one being conducted for adult immigrants to Canada. These twenty people have lived in Canada for two years and are at high intermediete level of English proficiency.

The teacher greets the class and distributes a handout. The teacher ask the students to read it andd underline the predictions the reporter has made. The teacher asks the students to turn to other side of the handouts. Then , the teachr announces that the students will be playing a game. The teacher divides the class in to some groups and asks them to make the discussion.

The goals of teacher who use communicative language teaching enable the students to communicate in the target language. The role of the teacher and the students Teacher: facilitates the communication in the classroom, to establish situations likely to promote communication. Students communicators, manage their own learning.

Some of the characteristic of the teaching or learning process Almost everything that is done with communicative intent. An information gap is exist when one person in an exchange knows something the ether person does not. The speaker has choice of what she will say and how she will say it. Communication is purposeful. The use of authentic material.

The nature of st, and establidudent-teacher interaction and student-student interaction the teacher sometimes as the presentator, fasilitator, co-comunicator , and establisher. Students interact a great deal with one another. The dealing of the feeling of the students The students will be more motivated to study a foreign language since they willl feel they are lerning to do something useful with the language.

Language is for communication. Linguistic competence, the knowledge of form languages and their meanings, is just one part of communnicative competence. The areas of the language are emphasized The language may be emphasized over forms. A functional syllabus may be used. Students work with language at the suprasential of discourse level.

The role of the students native language is for explaining activities , and explining to the students or in assigning the homework. A teacher evaluates not only the students accuracy , but also the their fluency. Errors of form are tolerated during fluency based activities are seen as a natural outcome of the development of communication skills.
