Safe Social Networking


Think about how different sites work before deciding to join.
Think about keeping some control over the information you
post.
Keep your information to yourself.
Post only information that you are comfortable with others
seeing and knowing about you.
Remember that once you post information online, you can
not take it back
Flirting with strangers online could have serious
consequences.
Be wary if a new online friend wants to meet you in person.
Trust your gut if you have suspicions.

How to create your own


profile on

First, go to www.facebook.com.
Then, you will see below screen.

After typing full name, email, password, select gender and birthday.
Then click sign up.

After clicking sign up, the facebook will send you


confirmation email

Check you email and click the link

Then, you will see below screen.


To make a profile, click profileedit tab

Type your information from Basic tab to work tab.


Then, click picture tab and upload your picture.

Now, you have created


your own Facebook
profile!

lurking on such sites
Make sure to never give out any private
information about yourself (such as your
address) to strangers on these sites!
