CSC (1033) Midrange Server (Minicomputer)

Midrange servers, also known as minicomputers, are small computers used by small businesses and organizations for specific departmental purposes. They have more processing and data storage capabilities than microcomputers but less than mainframes and supercomputers. Examples of midrange systems include the K-202, Texas Instrument TI-990, SDS-92, and IBM midrange computers. The systems allow for multiuser access and network connectivity while being more affordable than large computers. However, midrange servers are bulkier and more expensive than microcomputers.
