Activities

Beer Stein Race:


Contestants race a short distance with
two fists full of filled beer steins. The
winner is determined not only by the best
time, but by the amount of beer left in the
steins at the finish line. Sound easy? The
filled steins weigh close to 35 lbs.!

Beer Barrel Roll:


Participants roll an empty wooden barrel
around a marked course. The contestant
with the fastest time wins. Points are
deducted for losing control of barrel and
mowing down spectators.

Chugging Contest:
When it comes to drinking games, the
classic chugging contest is as easy as it
gets. Fill up the steins and see who can
do it the fastest.

Bratwurst Eating Contest:


See who can stuff the most sausages
into their belly in 2 minutes while the rest
of your guests cheer them on.

1) I salute you:
This is THE song of Oktoberfest as it is played like clockwork in the
beer tents every 15 minutes. The song start out repeating Ein Prosit
Der Gemtlichkeit meaning I Salute To Our Cozy Friendship & Good
Times Were Having Together.

2) Angels:
The smash hit ballad Angles by British signer Robbie Williams
seems to get bigger and bigger each year at Oktoberfest. It is played
at closing time on the last night by some tents, and it is bound to get
played at least once during the day no matter what tent you are
in. You wont be able to help but sing along.
