Dimension Notes

1D 2D 3D

Length/Distance: One dimensional geometry would be confined to points on a

line. Inches, meters, distinctions of nearer or farther, etc are measures of distance
or length.

Width/Area: Two dimensional geometries are expressed as flat planes which have
length and width but no depth. A shadow is an example of a two dimensional
appearance. 2d shapes are typically measured in square units, such as cm2
or others like acres.

Depth/Volume: Three dimensional geometries add the dimension of depth or

height so that they describe objects with volume. Volume should not be confused
with weight as two objects can be the same volume but one can be much heavier
than the other. A gallon of mercury is much heavier than a gallon of milk. 3d
measures include cubic units cm3 , pints, quarts, tablespoons, and liters.
Example
One dimension: A(1)

Two dimensions: A(1,0) B(0,1)

Three dimensions: A(1,0,0) B(0,1,0) C(0,0,1)

Four dimensions: A(1,0,0,0) B(0,1,0,0) C(0,0,1,0) D(0,0,0,1)

Etc...
1 dimension = a line (it only has length)

2 dimensions = a square (It has length and height. Its length and height exist at
right angles to each other. Images are 2 dimensional.)

3 dimensions = a cube (It has length, height and now depth. These measurements
exist at right angles to each other. The world around you is 3 dimensional.)
3D is already a household name. And in recent years, the 5D, 7D, 9D, 11D, 12D
having been appear in the world. Whats the 5D, 7D, 9D, 11D, 12D ?Now we
reason out the answer to the mystery.

4D:3 dimensional movies + seats movement

5D : 3D movies + seats movement + various special effects (Snow, Wind, Rain,

Bubble, etc)

7D:7D is an interactive cinema, you can use the toy gun to shoot the target. After
you shoot the characters in the movies then can see the score.

9D:Now. the 9D is the newest technology in the world. Like our 9d virtual reality
,viewers just need to wear VR glasses and then go into the world of the movies. It
breaks the limit of virtual and real world and takes viewers amazing experience. It
consists of three revolutionary new products :Interactive cinema with 360rotation
function, Immersive Glasses, Breakthrough VR entertainment content platform.
8D, 10D, 11D, 12D, XD are all similar to 7D. It just use other higher number to
named the cinema, but the effect is almost like the 7d cinema. Somebody use the
higher name to attract more customers
