Respect others in the classroom
Be on time
Raise hand when you have a question
Come to class prepared
Feel free to speak to me after class if you have any questions
you dont feel comfortable asking in front of the class
REWARD SYSTEM
Students will earn points for being on time, prepared, asking
thought provoking questions, and going above and beyond
to be helpful or respectful to their classmates.
At the end of the month these points may be cashed in for
healthy treats or a book from my personal collection.
Whoever has the most points at the end of the year will receive
a giftcard to the school library.
CONSEQUENCES
If you do something that warrants a consequence you will first
be deducted points from your positive points.
If there is a second violation I will email your parents to ensure
that this does not become a habit
If there is a third instance of bad behavior you will begin to
lose privileges in the classroom (when we have group time
you will be grouped with just me.)
If you still cannot get your behavior under control I will set up
a conference with your parents and we will develop a
behavior modification plan as well as implement strict rules.
BEHAVIOR FORM
What was my attitude going in to todays class?
What did I have to eat today?
Was I being rational with the behavior I chose?
In a perfect world what could I have done differently in this
situation?
Do you think what you did was wrong?
Explain in great detail how your actions have an effect on the
other kids in the class and how that is unfair.
