Fashion is something that we deal with everyday and one thing important in
fashion is change.
It is important to know the usefulness of distinction between timeless and
time bound costumes.
Fashion is a language which tells a story about the person wearing it.
It is means of self expression that allows people to try on many roles in life.
It must possess following things:

Change
Acceptance

To design a fashion institute.

Understanding the significant relationship of promoting fashion
education and making of a conducive learning environment to inspire
the students.

Architecture can provide an excellent background or set the stage for


the same through design of interactive spaces.

Couture means dressmaking,sewing,or needlework and haute means elegant or high,so the two combined imply
excellent artistry with the fashioning of graments.

These are clothing made in standard sizes.
Traditionally,they are made for ordinary people.
MASS MARKET
Ready to wear garments produced in mass amounts.
Available in large quantities and standard sizes.
LITERATURE REVIEW

HISTORY:
India is a country with an ancient clothing design tradition, yet an emerging fashion industry.
After the economic liberalization of the Indian economy in 1990 there was increase in exposure to global fashion
and economic boom.
The following decades firmly established fashion as an industry across India.
RECENT DEVELOPMENTS:
Indian Apparel Industry has developed endlessly over the period of the country's history.
Fashion Industry in India is in nascent stage at the moment and has great potential to make its mark on the
world stage. Fashion Industry in India is growing at a rapid pace with international events such as the "India
Fashion Week" gaining popularity and annual shows by fashion designers being held in the major cities of India.
Enhanced with skilled manpower, variety of fabrics, and resources, Indian apparel industry is now undergoing a
rapid metamorphosis, shaping out to become an integral part of the global supply chain.
METHODOLOGY
STAGE 1 (PRIMARY DATA)
Collecting basic information about project and its promoting body.
Frame objective, scope, and limitation or the project.
Preparaion of questionnaire and personal interviews.
Data collection, literature study of the project.
Study of site and analysis of available information
STAGE 2 (SECONDARY DATA)
Collection of published/unpublished data
Selection of study building.
Comparative analysis and basic justification of building program.
Drive conclusion from the case study, which would help in forming area program and design criteria for the
proposed project.
STAGE 3
Concept Design Development
From the literature study, site study and case study.
Refer research/thesis works.
