Console is an interactive entertainment device which
is meant for gaming
Consoles are classified in different generations
Currently we are in seventh generation with devices
like PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii
A sixth generation console PS2, is currently the
highest selling gaming device ever

speakers, LCD and controls

Psychological,physical and social Effects of
Gaming
Games sharpens the reflexes of the whole body
especially of brain
Games relieve the stress and allow a person to cool off
by breaking him from daily routine
Video games are blamed for the violent behaviour of
teens
 A game, Manhunt ,was banned in the US for its
excessive violent gameplay
However many people find gaming a safer outlet for
aggression and frustration
Excessive Gaming is not sound for the physique of a
child
It weakens the eye sight and causes obesity
The gaming-addiction is a concern for the younger
generation
A 28 year old South Korean died after playing Starcraft
online for 50 continuous hours
