Role of Teacher
Role of Teacher
It lies largely in his teachers hand to mould the mind of the child who
is father of the man. If he is patriotic and devoted to the national
cause and realizes his responsibility, he can produce a race of
patriotic men and women who would religiously place the country
above the community and national gain above communal
advantage.
Madan Mohan Malavia
These simple lines depict the role of a teacher in the society. The role
of a teacher in society is both significant and valuable.

PRESENT EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN INDIA
Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and
run riot there, undigested all your life. We must have life- building, man
making, character making and assimilation of ideas. We want that
education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the
intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on one own feet.
Swami Vivekananda
ROLE OF TEACHERS IN FUTURE
Today, education is increasingly being regarded as the major
weapon in the crusade for supremacy on the economic front.
Television, telephone and computers are reshaping practically every
walk of life, including education.
The classrooms of tomorrow could be entirely different from those
of today.
The teachers will play a very significant role. It would not only be
complex but also full of challenges, because dependence on the
teacher will gradually diminish for an individual leaner.
The world changes day by day and there are no doubt that
the modern society is not the same with an ancient one.
Education system has changed completely
Nowadays, being a teacher does not mean only being a
helper in difficult process of getting education; it means
being creative and highly talented guide, which
accompanies a student in all way of studying.
Although they are still considered to be a kind of leader in
the class, they can be thought of as facilitators in the
learning process.
They are supporters rather than educators and also
advisors towards parents.
CONCLUSION
A doctor may save life, a farmer may feed you, an engineer
may build a bridge but a teacher builds character.
