How to Open a New File in Adobe


Photoshop?
Open adobe photo shop, to create a newfile,
Select "File"->"New"
How to Use the Zoom Tool?
The "Zoom Tool" allows you to Zoom in or Zoom
out the image. I.e., to enlarge or decrease the
text or image size.
Click on the magnifying glass icon in the toolbar
and the mouse pointer will change to a
magnifying glass.
The magnifying glass with the plus '+' sign
enlarges the size of the image.
The magnifying glass with the minus '-' sign
reduces the size.
To maximize only a particular portion of the
image, Select the "Zoom Tool", drag it over the
portion or simply press "Alt + Left Mouse
Button" to zoom in or zoom out that portion of
the image.
If you click without any selection, the entire
portion of the file will be zoomed in or out.
How to use a Move Tool in Adobe
Photoshop?
The Move Tool allows you to take any selection and
move it to a different location.
Simply click and hold on the selection and then
drag the mouse for moving the selection.
How to Crop or clip an Image in
Adobe Photoshop?
The "Crop Tool" is used to crop or clip an image.
Cropping tool is often used to remove borders, or
to eliminate unwanted areas from an image.
Drag the mouse over the image and press enter
key to crop the selection, double click to save the
cropped area.
How to use the Marquee Tool in
Adobe Photoshop?
By using marquee tool we can select a
portion of the image with different shapes.
Make a rectangular selection
using "Rectangular Marquee Tool".
Make an elliptical selection using "Elliptical
Marquee Tool".
How to Addtext to an image using
Adobe Photoshop?
Text Tool is used to add or create a text to an
image or a document.
There are two types of Text tools, "Horizontal and
Vertical Text Tools"
The "Horizontal Text Tool" is used to addtext
horizontally.
The "Vertical Text Tool" is used to addtext vertically.
Simply select the Text tool from the toolbar and
type in the required text.
How to use Brush and Pencil Tool?
Brush tool is used to brush strokes with
the current color, ink, and fill pattern.
The Pencil tool is the basic drawing tool.
Both tool are similar, except that brush
tool will have a smooth output.
Select the size, shape, opacity, and
mode from the Brush Settings dialog
box or the selection panel.
Adobe photoshop comes with some
predefined brushes and pencil drawing
shapes.
How to Use Lasso Tools in Adobe
Photoshop?
"Lasso tool" is a free hand selection tool, used to cut or
select specific sections of an existing picture.
There are three variations of lasso tool: the Lasso tool
itself, the Polygon Lasso tool and the Magnetic Lasso
tool.
Select the Lasso tool by clicking on the tool in the
Toolbox or use its keyboard shortcut L.
The "polygon lasso" tool allows you to draw both free
hand and straight edge selections.
The "magnetic lasso" is ideal for reasonably well
defined edges.
Click and hold your left mouse button on the image
and draw your selection.
Set the options necessary in the options bar.
Terminologies:

Desaturate mode dulls the colors, turning them gray.


Saturate mode increases the color density, making them
brighter.
Edit Menu can change the fill color of the background
can resize the image ( Transform scale)
can rotate the image (Transfrom rotate)
Filter Menu can give different effects
