The maximum achievable acceleration of a


vehicle is limited by two factors:
maximum torque at driving wheels
(depends on engine and transmission
performance)
maximum traction force at tireprints.

The maximum efficiency usually happens around the


angular velocity that corresponding to the maximum
torque when the throttle is almost wide open.
Ideal Engine Performance

In vehicle dynamics, we introduce a gearbox to keep


the engine working range around the maximum
power. So, practically we keep the power of the
engine at wheels constant at the maximum value.
