E Commerce Technical Components

E-commerce systems rely on several key technical components to function properly. These include a client workstation for users to access the system, a transaction server to process purchases, a database server to store product and customer information, and a router to direct traffic between the systems through an internet communication line. Database transactions represent individual purchase actions that are treated reliably and independently from other transactions.
