Accessibility For All 1 1

The document discusses accessibility and assistive technology for individuals with disabilities as outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and requires public programs and transportation to be accessible. Assistive technologies like screen readers, communication programs, and electronic devices help students with disabilities focus on their strengths by bypassing areas of difficulty. Captions, alt tags, and text-to-speech programs improve understanding for those with visual, hearing, or cognitive impairments. Technologies like sip-and-puff and Ghotit provide alternative access methods for individuals unable to use standard inputs. The goal is to ensure all students can learn and succeed through accessible formats and assistive technologies as protected by the ADA.
