RECRUITMENT, EVALUATION, SELECTION, AND

APPOINTMENT OF TEACHER I POSITION IN PUBLIC


ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS
• Who May Avail the Service?
1) Applicant who has valid certificate of registration / professional
license as a teacher from the Professional Regulation
Commission (PRC) seeking to be appointed to a Teacher I
Position.
2) Qualified applicant who has valid professional license issued by
the Philippine Regulation Commission and who meets the
requirements of the evaluation /selection applied by the Schools
Division Superintendent.
3) Bonafide resident of the Barangay, Municipality, City, or Province
as evidenced by the Personal Data Sheet and Voter’s ID.
4) List of candidates who obtained an over-all score of 70
points and above based on the criteria provided in the
hiring guidelines for Teacher 1 Position.

• What are the Requirements?


1. Application Letter
2. CSC Forms 212 (revised 2005) in 2 copies with at least 2x2
ID photo
3. Certified photocopy of PRC certificate of registration/license
4. Certified photocopy of ratings obtained in Licensure Examination
for Teachers/Professional Board Exam for Teachers
5. Certified copies of Transcript of Records for Baccalaureate course
& Certificate of General Weighted Average
6. Copies of service record, performance rating and
school clearance for those with teaching experience
7. Certificate of specialized training, if any
8. Certified copy of Voter’s ID
9. NBI Clearance
10.Omnibus certification of authenticity and veracity of
all documents submitted.

2. Division Sub-Committee (EDDIS Committee)
3. Division Selection Committee

• Steps:
1. Submit an application letter with the required documents to
the school head.
2. Personally appear for an oral interview, demonstration teaching
and demonstration of special skills (as scheduled by the Division
Selection Committee)
3. Take the English Proficiency Test (as scheduled by the Central Office)
4. Wait for the release of the Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA)

APPOINTMENT AND PROMOTIONS OF OTHER
TEACHING, RELATED TEACHING AND NON-
TEACHING PERSONNEL
• Who May Avail the Service?
Teacher II & III, Education Program Supervisor, Guidance Counselors
/ Coordinators, and other Teaching and Related Teaching Positions
except School Heads - Principals and Head Teachers, and all Non-
Teaching groups.

• What are the Requirements?


1. Copies of performance ratings for the last three (3) rating periods.
2. Certification of experiences related to the position to be filled.
3. Certified Xerox copy of outstanding accomplishments
- Outstanding employee award
- Innovation
- Publication/Authorship
- Consultancy/Resource Speaker in Trainings/Seminars
4. Certified Xerox copy of transcript of records with CAV.
5. Certificate of trainings in education attended
6. Certificate of Participation/Recognition as Chairperson/Co-chair in
a technical planning committee.

2. Division Personnel Selection Board (PSB)/SDS
• Steps:
1. Watch for published vacant positions in the CSC Bulletin.
2. File application for the position with the accompanying
support documents.
3. Wait for further notice on the outcome of preliminary
evaluation.
4. Submit for interview and for other assessment before the PSB.

APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL SCIENCE CLASS

• What is a Science Class?


The Science High Curriculum is relevant to the needs of students
who will be pursuing Engineering and Science Education Programs in
the tertiary level.

It has the same features as the regular High School Curriculum


except that Advanced Science, Mathematics, Computer, and
Research Subjects are included in every year level.

• What are the Requirements?


1. Fully accomplished Application Form in two (2) copies
2. Two (2) identical recent 1x1 ID pictures
3. Certified true copy of report cart (Form 138)
4. If the final grades in Science or Math are below 85%, certification
or proof that the child belongs to the upper 10% of the class

• Person/s In-Charge
1. Authorized Personnel – Administrative
2. School Science Department

• Steps:
1. File application to the Office of School Head (as scheduled)
2. Appear before the Schools Screening Committee for the
conduct of interview of the applicant with the parents.
3. Take a the Qualifying Exam
