What’s self introduction
A self-introduction explains who you are, what you do and
what others need to know about you. So as a simple
definition self introduction is “Tell me about your self”
You may need to introduce yourself
In your English class
In a job interview
At a new job
Giving a presentation
At a large event
Attending a hiring event
Networking with new connections
Several things that people usually express in introducing

Asking for information about self-identity

Asking is how we say or write something to someone as a way of


gaining information
Giving information means how we share information
How do we make sentence of asking and giving information?

We can use 5 W + 1H
(what, why, who, where, when, how)
• what is your name?
• how do you spell your name?
• where do you live?
• what is your occupation?
• how many brothers or sisters do you have?
We also use modals such as
(can, may, should, will, could, etc.)
for example
• can you tell me?
• could you tell me?
• do you know?
• could anyone tell me?
