•pH:- pH is a measurement of hydrogen ion concentration
and the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The pH scale
usually ranges from 0 to 14.

•LOD(Loss On Drying) :- The Loss on Drying Test is designed


to measure the amount of  water and volatile matters in a
sample when the sample is dried under specified conditions. 

•Water Solubility:- Water solubility is a measure of the


amount of chemical substance that can dissolve in water  at a
specific temperature and condition.

•Alcohol Solubility:- Alcohol solubility is a measure of the


amount of chemical substance that can dissolve in alcohol  at
a specific temperature and condition.
Ash Content:- When a material decomposed at a high temperature
(500-600˚c), the remaining residue is the ash.

Density:- The density of a substance is the relationship between the


mass of the substance and volume of the substance.

Assay:- An Assay is an analysis done to determine the presence of a


substance and the amount of that substance.
