Ka Maldang - She's always mad at her ▫ Ka Ugong - He doesn't want to


husband because she wants him to wash the dishes. He was happy
wash the dishes but her husband because he won the wager and his
would always refuse to do it. wife will do the dishes everyday.

REACTION of OTHER CHARACTERS
Ka Maldang:
Neighbor, Ugong and Maldang's compadre- He is a close friend of Ka Ugong and
Ka Maldang, so when he saw Ka Ugong and Ka Maldang's unresponsive state he
was panicked and worried for them.
Herb Doctor- Surprised because it's the first "witchery" that did not have a response
to him. He also thinks of her as a "stubborn soul".
7 Men and 7 Women- They are nosy but worried for them.
Ka Ugong- a From his personality, I can tell that he is a teasing type of partner and
have already thought many times with Ka Maldang because of this. His cheering in
the end of the story might depict that Ka Maldang always win in the arguments that
they had.

▫ Ka Ugong:

▫ Neighbor, Ugong and Maldang's compadre- Surprised and worried towards his
unresponsive state, along with his wife's, because they're close friends.

▫ Herb Doctor- Like Ka Maldang's, he is surprised with the "witchery" casted upon
him. I think the herb doctor thought when Ugong obeys him that he has a higher
chance of "reviving" him than Ka Maldang's stubbornness.

▫ 7 Men and 7 Women- With their commentary, you'll easily figure out that they're
nosy but worried for them.

▫ Ka Maldang- She trusts that Ka Ugong will not allow the men to put her in a coffin.
That explains the trust of Ka Maldang to Ka Ugong even though they are competing
with each other on who will wash the dishes.
