STATISTICAL ANALYSIS
INTRODUCTION
What is employee communication?
Employee communication is
often defined as the sharing
of information and ideas
between the management of
an organization and
employees and vice versa.
Why does employee
communication fails in an
organization?
1.Communication sometimes becomes
overwhelming.

Too many messages at the same time

can affect a person’s capability to
retain important information and let
go of unwanted things, this leads to
problems and gap between employee
and manager.

z
2.Inconsistency from the side of
leaders and fellow employees.

When there is not a proper flow

communication and messages it
becomes difficult to keep track of
anything at all.

z
3. Unclear directions

The most common reason in the failure of

communication is that there is not a proper
explanation of how and what should be done
by an employee.

z
4.Lack of Attention and Trust.

When an employee doesn’t give attention and is

not coherent with its speaker it creates a gap
between them which further creates distrust.

aren’t. In 2021, Employee experience must become more

communicating is crucial.

internal communication tools, and aligning

needs, are vital to achieve cut-through in

Wellbeing And Mental Health

Unclear Objectives
Most modern companies operate from a
top-down structure. The executive team
makes big-picture decisions, the
management team determines how they
should carry those decisions out, and the
employees do the work to meet
management’s objectives. But what
happens when the objectives aren’t clear?

Lack of Empowerment
Employees who are empowered aren’t afraid to
speak up about obstacles or setbacks
Limited Collaboration
Teams work better when they can collaborate on projects and
share ideas. They have ownership in the process and can feel
proud of the project they created.

Lack of Professionalism
Many workplace misunderstandings come from mixing
personal and professional life. Teams often become so
comfortable with each other that they become comfortable
talking about more personal issues that would normally be
appropriate at work.
Technological Discomfort
The modern workplace has gone through many technological changes
in the last half-century. Some hires are often quick to adapt to
changing systems, while other employees may be reluctant to change
how they work.

Poor Management
Sometimes the cause is as simple as a hiring issue.
SOLUTIONS

•Use The Right Communication Tools

The first step to overcoming communication problems in
the workplace is by making sure you have the appropriate
infrastructure in place for healthy communication.

•Focus On Consistency
The delivery method for communicating with all
employees should be the best for effectively and efficiently
conveying the meaning of the message.

•Don’t Mix Work and Personal Communication

Some employees tend to mix personal lives into the
workplace communications..
Listen, It’s The Golden Rule
Listening skills are crucial to effectively communicating and understanding what is being
shared

Communication Is A Two-Way Street

The manager should not be the one to do all the talking. Going off of our last point, it is vital
to build and foster two-way relationships with your team.

Follow Through
When you share information, be sure to follow through to ensure everyone is aligned.

Recognition And Positivity

Avoid communication issues in the workplace by recognizing employees who are doing a
great job, it will easily help them to go the extra mile.
