English For Specific Purposes: Unit 3: Change

Here are the key points from the listening: 1. Organizations face "change fatigue" due to constant waves of change and programs. 2. It is important to get leaders engaged and aligned around the change. 3. Change needs to be meaningful and have a clear purpose for employees. Top-down, mandated change is less effective. 4. Communication is vital to explain the reasons for and benefits of change. People need to understand "what's in it for them." 5. Change takes time. Quick fixes generally don't work and can damage trust. Patience and persistence are needed.
