• Step 8:Cut vinyl
• Step 9:Spread adhesive material

Advantages

Installation and costing
Installation:
• Preparing the sub floor is the first step.
• PIt is the most easy to install as it uses interlocking system or edge pins that hold the tiles together.
• It can be easily cut with a sharp knife to get desired shapes.
• If it is to be glued down then it is quite complicated to install. And even if the flooring was glued down, the adhesives
may also be susceptible to fire.
• If we install below ground ,we need to Include vapour barrier To avoid seeping from underground.
Costing:
• Some Premium tiles are quite expensive,for gyms it may cost rs.145/sq.ft, For living areas it can go upto rs.890 to
1,112/sq.ft ,On avg it can be upto rs.222 to 593 /sq.ft

Maintenance and durability
Maintenance
• It is very easy to clean just requires a damp mop to clean it.
• Some types of tiles can be polished with water soluble wax to make it
more resistant.
• Wax may be reapplied periodically,Synthetic rubber flooring is more stain
resistant than natural rubber flooring.
Advantages
• Resistance to tough works and high trafficking.
• Numerous style option,perfect fit for the space.
• Quick and easy installation ,with their interlocking systems and light weight.
• No adhesive required,if damage occured It can be replaced and not the
whole set to be changed.
• Easy to remove, store and reuse in other locations.
• It is Quite soft to legs.
Disadvantages
• The floor may not be completely seamless.
• Seams may Let the water to the go down floor.
• Smooth, untextured floors may become slippery when it is wet.
• The rubbery smell can be occured within a couple of months.
• Design option are very limited.
• Warning:While rubber is fairly resistant to catching fire, synthetic rubber materials,
when they do catch fire after being exposed to sufficient heat, may produce toxic
gases.1 To guard against this, choose products that do not contain PVC materials.
